Our History
The journey of Ataturk University from its founding to the present day
2005 - Foundation
Ataturk University was established with a vision to provide high-quality education in Kyrgyzstan. The university began with three faculties: Business, Engineering, and Arts.
2010 - Expansion
The university expanded its academic offerings with the addition of the Faculty of Science and Faculty of Medicine. The main campus was also expanded to accommodate growing student numbers.
2015 - International Recognition
Ataturk University gained international recognition through partnerships with universities in Europe, Asia, and North America. The university also established its first research centers.
2020 - Digital Transformation
The university embraced digital transformation with the implementation of advanced learning management systems, online courses, and virtual research collaborations.
Present Day
Today, Ataturk University stands as a leading institution of higher education in Kyrgyzstan, with over 12,000 students, 850+ faculty members, and a commitment to excellence in teaching, research, and community service.
